I’m a language teacher. I’m trying to learn German. I would like to find a language partner who can help me learn German. We can have learning sessions on skype. One is the teacher and the other is the student. The teacher can start by helping with comprehension when reading easy texts. Then the teacher can start speaking to the student – through the microphone- and asking very easy questions about the reading. I have experience with this teaching „approach“ and I know how to make it work. Beginners don’t need to work hard with boring grammar exercises when they haven’t had enough aural exposure to the language. With my help you’ll have a lot of aural exposure to Spanish from the first day and I’ll speak Spanish to you so you can understand me 100% and that’s what we beginners need: comprehensible input, that is what makes our brain acquire the language ( conscious learning of grammar rules is a different type of learning which doesn’t lead to fluent use of language)
